Unfortunately, this slacker has not found a magic pill. Luckily, there is a magic formula! Calories Consumed - Calories Burned = Weight Loss/Gain. Yep, I’m sorry, that’s it, but at least it’s a simple formula. We can attack this problem one of two ways, either by lowering the consumption side or increasing the calories burned side. If we’re smart, then we’ll do a little of both without having to do any significant work.

Slacker Method for Losing Weight Using Circuit Training

Exercise is always a rough part of the weight loss equation (calories eaten - calories burned). Slackers naturally don’t like to exercise or otherwise overexert themselves. Here’s a tip, you can cut the recommended 20 minutes a day down to twice a week by swapping out your aerobic exercise with circuit training which combines elements of both. You burn your normal calories during your exercise, but you also increase your residual burn for the rest of the week by building muscle and increasing your metabolism. The perfect slacker solution!
