There are three really important things that your body needs to survive. Studies have shown that you can live for 4-6 weeks without food. If it’s water you’re missing, than you might last a week depending on the temperature. But without air, you will not be able to count more than a few minutes before suffering permanent brain death. And it isn’t just any air, it’s good quality air that we need. Ever heard of the Canary in the Coal Mine? Bad air can kill you.
Your body needs quality air to function properly. At worst, poor quality can cause permanent damage to your lungs, make you feel sick, and best, lower your efficiency and energy. Dirty air and smog can cause all sorts of brain damage, cancer, and athsma. Also, contaminants in the air can go directly to your bloodstream as it piggy backs on the oxygen which is exchanged through your alveoli. Don’t forget the many countless battles that people with allergies fight on a daily basis. This is why it is absolutely imperative that you always have clean air. I love cooking, but I hate cooking. It’s taken me years to figure out little tips that turn mushy bland food, into texturized flavorful goodness. If you think about the things that you enjoy eating like those juicy BBQ Ribs or those crunchy fries, it’s always a combination of flavor, texture, and balance. Turns out there are just a few very easy tricks I’ve learned that can often give you surprising results if you haven’t used them before.

Slacker Method for Spreading the Joy Without Spreading Your Time

I’ve been doing a lot of posts lately regarding the Holidays, but I can’t help it! The holidays bring a lot of emotions, and much of those emotions involve stress, time, and money. While we all look forward to meeting with friends and family, nobody, not even slackers, look forward to the hectic nature of the season.
One of the things I know slackers WANT to do but often can’t do, is sit down and write cards to everyone they love and care about, or maybe even give them a call. But there may be many reasons we can’t, people we haven’t spoken to a long time which may be awkward, or simply not having the time to reach out to everyone that we want to.

Slacker Method for Losing Weight by Swapping Foods

Unfortunately, this slacker has not found a magic pill. Luckily, there is a magic formula! Calories Consumed - Calories Burned = Weight Loss/Gain. Yep, I’m sorry, that’s it, but at least it’s a simple formula. We can attack this problem one of two ways, either by lowering the consumption side or increasing the calories burned side. If we’re smart, then we’ll do a little of both without having to do any significant work.
